This weekend, Team Tugman had a strong contingent of wrestlers compete in one of the toughest pre-season tournaments in the country, the Journeymen Fall Classic. All of our athletes scored victories and competed hard against some of the best competition the wrestling world can offer. We are thrilled to report that several TTWC members made the podium in their respective divisions, including several wrestling for their prep school teams. Congratulations to all of the participants for having the courage to take on the best in the country, and a special congratulations to all of our place winners!

2nd Place – Sarah Henckel, Blair Academy – 155 lbs. – Women’s Division

2nd Place – Ava Guilmette, Wyoming Seminary – 117 lbs. – Women’s Division
3rd Place – Antonio Arguello, Team Tugman – 128 lbs. – Middle School Division
NEXT UP: This coming weekend, we travel back to Pennsylvania to compete in the Tyrant Columbus Day Duals. This two-day tournament (October 8 and 9) boasts some of the top clubs in the country as competitors so it will be a great challenge for our Men’s and Women’s squads. We are excited top compete against the best!
